A REPRESENTATIVE WHO WILL WORK FOR US
An Affordable Florida
The cost of living is out of control--housing, insurance, groceries, healthcare and everyday expenses are squeezing families. We will take on rising insurance costs, increase attainable housing options, and push back on price hikes that hurt working people. Families should be able to live, work, and stay in the communities they love. Healthcare should be accessible in all communities.
Invest in Strong Public Schools
Public education should prepare every student for success, no matter their zip code. Elizabeth will work to support teachers, improve classroom resources, and ensure public funding is used responsibly to benefit students first. Strong schools create stronger futures for our communities.
Restore Community Voices in Government
Decisions should be made with communities—not handed down from Tallahassee insiders. We will focus on practical solutions that improve daily life, including infrastructure, clean water, quality healthcare and neighborhood safety. Government should listen, respond, and deliver real results for the people it serves.
Protect Our Environment from Data Centers and Over Development
Billion-dollar tech companies should not be allowed to reshape our neighborhoods. Massive AI data centers can threaten local water supplies, strain energy infrastructure, create noise and traffic, and impact quality of life. A strong majority of voters across party lines oppose the construction of these facilities in their local communities. Elizabeth will protect our water resources, infrastructure, and neighborhoods by ensuring residents have a seat at the table and preventing large-scale data centers from being approved without meaningful community support.
ABOUT ELIZABETH
Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Elizabeth Holmes is a public school teacher, mother of four boys, and proud advocate for Florida families running for Florida State Representative, District 94. For the past 15 years, she has served her community as both an English and Exceptional Student Education teacher in Palm Beach County public schools. She earned her degree in English Education from Florida Atlantic University while continuing the legacy of service inspired by her parents, a retired Palm Beach County school teacher and retired postal worker.
As a public school teacher, I have lived what so many families in our community are going through. I have watched parents fall behind as the cost of housing, insurance, and everyday life rises faster than their paychecks. I have felt it myself. This is not abstract to me. It is personal.
And it is not just teachers. It is nurses working long shifts and still worrying about rent. It is doctors seeing patients delay care because they cannot afford it. It is hospitality workers, retail employees, and first responders doing everything right and still struggling to keep up. Across every profession, people are working harder and falling further behind.
What changed for me was realizing that too many decisions in Tallahassee are being made without people who truly understand these realities. When we do not show up, when seats go uncontested, everyday families lose their voice before the conversation even begins. That is how we got here.
I am running because the only way to fix it is to participate. To show up. Send a teacher to Tallahassee who understands what it means to live and work here, and who will fight to represent the needs of everyday people trying to build a life in Florida.
I am from this community. I have lived this alongside you. And I am ready to fight for a more affordable, more secure future for all of us.
